This contains directions and Sat Nav post code etc. Please aim to arrive at 4pm for check-in with Rachael and get your rooms organised etc. Rachael will be there from 2pm so you can arrive earlier if you like and help out. We can get into the accommodation from 4 but Rachael's OCD earliness will likely occur.
Food plans (the important bit)
I have organised the following food plan / menu for the weekend and I will do all the food purchasing and preparation to bring down with me so you don't need to worry about that. Here are the food details:
Friday Night Dinner: The Fulling Mill, Ambleside - Booked for 8:30pm
Saturday Breakfast: Overnight Chia Oats with Berries
Saturday Lunch: Turmeric Chicken or Salmon with Quinoa Roast Veg Salad, Sourdough Toast & Avo
Saturday Afternoon Brew: Somewhere in Windermere
Saturday Dinner: Homemade Chicken Burgers with Homemade Chips & Salad
Sunday Breakfast: Protein Pancakes with Fruit & Yoghurt
Sunday Morning Tea: Daisy's Cafe, Ambleside (before we head home).
Rough Schedule (who knows what will happen...!)
Arrive at 4pm and get acquainted, get rooms sorted, food unpacked and kitchen sorted. Open the wine. (only semi-kidding)
Dinner is booked for 8:30pm in Ambleside which is only a short taxi ride away - so we can take some time to get ready etc - possibly arrive there for a drink around 8pm before dinner. Aim to leave the accommodation at 7:45pm.
7:00am - HIIT Session (outdoors, weather permitting)
8:00am - Breakfast
10:00am - Leave accommodation for Loughrigg Fell walk (2.5 hours)
1:00pm - Head back to accommodation for lunch and a brew / chill out
3:00pm - Windermere - go for a wander, coffee & cake
Evening: Nutrition based chat with Rachael, Q&A for own personal goals - ask me anything. Dinner cooked by Rach (feel free to help). Glass or two of wine.
7:00am - HIIT session (outdoors, weather permitting)
8:00am - Breakfast
10:00am - Check Out - head to Ambleside for morning tea/coffee before parting ways
Stuff you need to pack...
- Sleeping bag or duvet / sheets
- 2 sets of workout clothes & trainers
- Walking shoes or boots are recommended (or sturdy trainers that you don't mind getting mucky)
- Waterproof jacket (weather is very changeable in the Lakes!)
- Your own snacks / food that you may want for between meals
- Clothes for dinner on Friday night
- Seriously though, it will be BYOB if you do want to have a wee drink or two (probably not many though!)
I will be purchasing, preparing and bringing all the food & kitchen equipment that we need with me. I have prepared an online grocery list to help with costings and would ask that everybody please contribute £30.00 for food costs for the full weekend. Please do this by Tuesday 18th July at the very latest. If you can't do bank transfer - you may use this PayPal link - there is an additional £1.50 fee for the PayPal transaction which is why I wanted to provide bank transfer as the first option.
