Tame your cravings with these tips

You know those uncontrollable cravings you get at “that time of the month”…?
They’re not actually because you’ve suddenly become a greedy bitch
(albeit, that’s what you’ll tell yourself)
It’s because your body actually has a
physiological REQUIREMENT
for more carbohydrates
around this time of the month.
So here lies within this e-mail, some tips for staying the f*** SANE when you feel like a CHOCOLATE SINKING MONSTER
for a few days before your time of the month hits.
If you know you’re a “craver”
And you track your moods (I do, I use an app)
Then you can actually INCREASE
the amount of carbohydrates you eat, a few days before…
For example,
a few days before you know the cravings are gonna hit?
Eat more carbs.
It’s that simple.
Now I’m not saying go crazy and tank a 1kg bar of Dairy Milk..
I mean things like sweet potatoes, carrots, parsnips, oats, potaaaatoes, fruit…
Whole food carbs.
Because not only will they help alleviate the cravings?

They’ll pack your body full of the nutrients it needs, especially around this time of the month.

So that’s cravings…

But what about that horrible, disgusting

bloated mess feeling?

What can you do about that…?

Well, a few things – but mainly:

> Make sure you’re drinking PLENTY of water,

include herbal teas – especially fennel or peppermint – these are brilliant for alleviating tummy issues

> Keep your sugar intake LOW.

See, simple?

You can also beat the feelings of tiredness and lethargy by cutting yourself some slack girl…

If you feel like going for a lie down

fucking GO FOR A LIE DOWN FOR CHRIST’S SAKE….

or have a wee coffee – you’re allowed to treat yourself…

I thought I would write about this today,

‘coz I get AWFUL PMT & cravings (but mostly bad mood swings) and they’re in full swing today. RAGING.

I hope this has helped ya,

even just a little…

PS – Don’t use PMT as an excuse to eat whatever the fuck you want,

Because believe it or not,

it WILL count towards your weight gain.

So be mindful… eh?
