I'm always looking for something quick that I can whip up to eat with a wee cup of tea in the afternoon - so I created a few little recipes that include naturally sweet fruits like dates and combined then with some of my favourite flavours. Here's one of my favourites - chocolate peanut flavour (with added protein powder, but you can leave that out if you wish).
Ingredients (yields 20)
12 Dates (pitted)
1 tablespoon raw cacao powder
1 tablespoon Pulsin Pea Protein
1 tablespoon honey
1 tablespoon crunchy peanut butter
Desiccated coconut to decorate
Combine all ingredients (apart from the coconut) in a food processor and blitz until smooth. Roll into little balls about the size of a malteser and then roll in the desiccated coconut to finish. Store these in the fridge.
